Tune us in when you are coming through Gerlach and ride the Electra wave to
Black Rock City.
Radio Electra-FM 89.9 is participating in the BRC public WIFI system along
with another RFID art project in Conjunction with Google/ Burning Man earth.
Our tower is being used to run a couple nodes for both projects. That means
we will FINALLY be able to do a
streaming webcast. Also we should have a VOIP phone running in the
station. Trevor will be on the air Sunday for the gate show. So tune in or
call in if you can. To tune in while we are on the playa just go the
radio-electra.org and follow the link from the home page. it will be running
through Winamp. I will send you the station Phone number a few days before
the event starts. We should have the phone jacked into the board so you can
be live at BM if you want..

The Deviant Playground - Location TBA
We’ve built a life of rum, stuffed animals, DP, fuzzy blinky things and
boundary-pushing love. Now it’s time to make it a bit more illegal with a
playa wedding.
We invite you to join us on Tuesday August 26th at dusk.
The wedding will take place at Deviant Playground (DP Camp). The ceremony
will be officiated by Jon Vance,
Kristin Flamand will be Best Person, Juan Carlos Flamand will be our
Usher/Security/Legal Counsel, and Chad Gott will be Daddy (giving Kel away).
Come join us for our ceremony, a toast, and some type of wedding-cake fare.
Please pass us a folded note if you’d like to come and don’t let the teacher
see you. (Or not.)

Deviant Playground
Burningtribe presents the Bordello of Dust
An "Amsterdam red-light district meets Moulin Rouge at Burning Man" area
will be created. There will be themed rooms: a boudoir, a classroom with
naughty boys and girls and a strict teacher, a kinky doctor's office, and a
photo booth with a red-light district theme. There will also be a stage,
stripper pole, and swing.
Performances will happen in the evenings at various times - but you are
welcome to come by any time and make yourselves at home. Anyone interested
in performing is welcome to drop a note to bordello(at)burningtribe(DOT)com
- we are very easy to please so amateur pole dancers, burlesque performers,
fire performers, etc are most welcome to make use of our stage and rooms.
Stop by, check out the digs, strike a pose, and have a drink at JeannieBee's

Wednesday about 11:30 ish the camp will be overrun with mice!!!
Sunburn Sarah who works with the BMIR radio people have this race going on
and looks like it will end at our camp about 11:30 ish and she will be
grilling grilled cheese sandwiches for the crew and will have a couple of
other things there too, got a mouse trap planned and so fun stuff
Graffiti night - Thursday - 7p and during the day i think the camp is
doing 2 ice shifts also, a couple of us are doing the naked greeters shift
too. other than that, just the general playa get togethers here and there
