All Souls Procession aka Dia de los Muertos

This years Procession is Sunday November 9th.

For the last 7 years many of the AZBurners have played important roles in the evolution and creation of the All Souls Procession. From Fund Raisers, individual and Community art, organization and performance. We all help make this event happen on may different levels. It is that time of year again and the wheels are already rolling. Come out and Participate, create, to remember and honor those who have passed.

The mask making workshops begin in just a couple days. Here is the details.

The home page with all the info you need to get involved or just walk in the procession is here.

For more info on the procession, see
All Souls Procession

This is a great time. Burners from all over Arizona come down to Tucson for this event. Usually there is some sort of local Burner weekend gathering in conjunction with the Procession. At some point in the next few weeks we will let you know who has crash space in their homes for those who need it and if the same people are hosting the pre procession get together that have in the past.

Stay tuned for more info and get involved!

Burners gather at 6:30 at MUSE studios

(516 N. 5th Ave, Arizona – old YMCA at 6th St & 5th Ave)

Procession (last year 3000 attended) starts at 7pm

The finale show is staged at the Stone & Toole Ave loading docks.

Dress is playa attire with a twist – costumes ranging from skeletons, masks, creatures and human puppets honoring the dead. If you need help finding a place to stay while in Arizona for the procession.
